Welcome! My name is Lindsey Cramer and I am the owner of I WILL Fitness & Training.
This studio space is the result of 15+ years of being inspired by people everyday, while teaching group exercise classes. Starting out as a fitness instructor in Grand Forks, ND making cold calls and cleaning treadmills, I fell in love with the opportunity to impact peoples lives in a positive way, through fitness. Whether a seasoned athlete or a beginner to exercise, you are welcome to join our classes! There is a spot for everyone!
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education at the University of North Dakota, I spent a few years in Bloomington, IN working as the Fitness Director for adults with developmental disabilities at Stone Belt day programming center. Then transitioning back into the gym atmosphere, I spent another year as a personal trainer working one-on-one with clients. Upon returning to ND, I went back to teaching group exercise classes and made that my (part-time) occupation, along with raising my family.
I have experience in a wide variety of class formats including Spinning, circuit training, yoga, step, SilverSneakers Classic and Cardio, HIIT, Battleropes...Here at I WILL we are open to your suggestions on class formats you would enjoy, so feel free to contact myself or any of our awesome instructors with your ideas!
My passion for fitness started in 2012 when I was first introduced to group exercise classes held at our local YMCA. I knew this was going to be a lifelong enjoyment for me when I experienced the welcoming environment and positive energy from those around me.
Since then I have found a love for Pound, boot camp style workouts, yoga and running.
Recently I have become certified through NETA in group exercise training and as a Pound instructor. I currently enjoy running with our family dog, Denali, lake days with my husband, and spending time with family.
My name is Kelly Ost. I have been teaching group fitness since 2013, and have a B.A. in Health and Fitness. I have a few certifications including:
- Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine
- Certified Silver Sneakers instructor (Muscular Strength and Range of Motion and Cardio Circuit)'
- NETA Pilates
I also have also taught/currently teach a few different classes including yoga, cycling, HIIT/Tabata, senior fitness, water aerobics, Pilates, and kids' fitness. I also have experience coaching a few different sports including gymnastics, soccer, track and field, and couch-to-5k running.
In my free time I like to walk my dog Penny, be outside as much as I can, and go out for morning runs. I've had to put the running on hold recently, since my husband and I expecting our first baby in June! Teaching and taking group fitness classes is one of my favorite things to do--there's nothing better than getting a ton of good endorphins going with a group of great people.
I want to help you discover your passion for health, happiness, and the magic in believing in yourself.
I was born and raised in, North Dakota and was blessed to have amazing family. I have been married to my husband Tom for 12 years and together we have two children. Having my children helped me realize the importance of exercise, nutrition and using it properly, made me care about my body and mind and lastly shown me that is okay to take time for myself. I enjoy anything outdoors, being with my incredible friends and family, reading, learning, creating, teaching, laughing, leading group fitness classes, working out, hiking, doing burpees (I am not kidding!) and lastly playing around in the kitchen.
I am so glad and honored to be a part of I Will Fitness and I can’t wait to spend more time with you getting to know you, your goals and helping you find your personal success! Xo- Mindy
Hi I'm Justine! I'm a North Dakota native, married, a mom to one boy and a black lab. As a family we enjoy being outdoors whenever we can.
My passion for fitness began in 2012 when I knew I needed a lifestyle change. That was when I ran my first 5k! As a mom I needed to find time to take care of myself and I found that through fitness. Fast forward two years later when I became a health and fitness coach with Beachbody. Through healthy eating and at-home fitness, I was able to make a lot of positive changes to my body and mind that reflected throughout my whole life. I have learned the importance of positive mindset and leading an active life. It has been from then on that I wanted to encourage and inspire others in the same way and I'm very excited to continue my journey as a group fitness instructor!
It is so rewarding to see people making positive lifestyle changes while having FUN working out with friends.
I’m Andrew Yatskis and athletics have always been a part of life. I'm currently a Junior, studying Exercise Science at the University of Jamestown.
I grew up playing hockey here in Jamestown until the end of my junior year of high school I selected to try out for team USA. After falling short, I received an offer to play in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League in Detroit Michigan. While in Detroit, I was offered a job by our team athletic trainer at the facility he ran called D1. A majority of the people that trained there were Division 1, Minor pro, or professional athletes. For about a year I had the opportunity to work with the trainers and see how they designed the workouts specifically to each athletes needs.
When I came back to Jamestown I spent one year working out and dieting to compete in two mens physique competitions. Then in August of 2014, I decide to go back to school At UJ, and walk onto the Jimmies football team. The following season I played on the first Jimmie hockey team.
Through my experience’s I've gained not only knowledge about different training techniques, but also on the day to day struggles that come with being a student athlete. I believe in diversifying workouts to keep them fun while also being specific to the individual and purpose.
Lyna Marquez, from Winslow Arizona. I started my fitness journey after the birth of my daughter. I was bit by the Zumba bug and needed to spread the Zumba Luv after receiving my certification. Since then I got certifications in POUND, Group Cycling, and Tires Ropes, and Squats.
My name is Rachel Macdonald and I have a passion for yoga because of the physical and mental benefits it gives my body and mind. I have been practicing yoga regularly for the past 3 years and wanted to continue this journey and become a yoga instructor. Thanks to I Will Fitness and Training and my current yoga mentor, Sherry Schutt, I am teaching! I am currently taking yoga classes with NETA and my goal is to reach the 200-hour yoga certification and be a certified instructor through Yoga Alliance. It is hard work but I am enjoying it! My other goals in the next year are to become a certified group fitness instructor as well as a pilates instructor! I am doing what I love and loving what I do! I am also a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at JRMC and work on an as needed basis at Cornerstone Nutrition making and selling Herbalife products. My passion is health and wellness, I am here to help you on your journey and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. My focus for yoga classes is to teach a multi-level class so it doesn’t matter if it’s your first time attending yoga or if you’re experienced. My classes are free from judgement and formatted for you to honor your body and guide you through your practice. When you walk out the door after my class I want you to feel refreshed, relaxed, calm, and good about yourself. I would be happy for you to join me!
A little more about me….
- I am a dog lover. Dogs are my favorite. I have two..and a cat!
- I have my own yoga room in my house.
- I am married and have a 13 year old son.
- Traveling is my favorite…India is on my bucket list.
- Lindsey (I Will Fitness owner) and I played basketball in high school together!
- I travel to different towns and states for yoga experiences and classes.
- Pizza is my favorite food….well, dessert is actually!
- My best friends are my mom and the same ones I have had since high school!
- I have TONS of tattoos…it’s my thing. 🙂
- I am scared to death of spiders. If there is a spider in the studio, class is cancelled! (kidding!)
Edwin Aybar has been teaching Latin social dance for more than 14 years. He began learning in Chicago, continued his training in St. Louis, and continues learning as his teaching has progressed. He has done several professional performances in the midwest, and is also certified to teach waltz at the DVIDA bronze level. Dr. Aybar holds a doctorate in music and is currently professor at University of Jamestown.
Hi, I’m Alexis Kopperud! My absolute favorite aspect of group fitness is being a part of someone’s fitness journey and sharing my own journey with them. The summer after my sophomore year of college I discovered Dance Attack, and it completely changed my life. I lost 30 pounds, gained insane amounts of energy, found the self-esteem I had lost, and even started running (something I never thought I would be able to do). Even though I have come a long way in my year of teaching Dance Attack, my fitness journey is still a work in progress. I love that group fitness is a way for everyone in the class to feel they aren’t on the fitness journey alone, instructor included!
Hi my name is Kristal Uehran and I’m a stay at home Mom to a beautiful little 1 year old girl named Maelee and 6 year old boy named Kysen. My husband Justin is a farmer and rancher north of town. Our family loves to travel, eat, and play! We are very active and continue to explore new things to keep us busy and growing.
I started my fitness journey many years ago when I was running half marathons. Since then I branched out to weight lift training and group fitness training. Right now, my passion is group fitness training. I absolutely love helping others achieve their fitness goals all while they help me achieve mine!
I am currently certified in Barre and working on my certification in group fitness & also nutritional health. If you don’t know what Barre is, ask! It’s such a fun workout that includes ballet moves, strength training, cardio burns and yoga stretches all to upbeat music. I absolutely love instructing fitness classes and will continually look for new classes to get certified in! My motto as always - take time to do what makes your soul happy!
