Welcome! My name is Lindsey Cramer and I am the owner of I WILL Fitness & Training.

This studio space is the result of 15+ years of being inspired by people everyday, while teaching group exercise classes. Starting out as a fitness instructor in Grand Forks, ND making cold calls and cleaning treadmills, I fell in love with the opportunity to impact peoples lives in a positive way, through fitness. Whether a seasoned athlete or a beginner to exercise, you are welcome to join our classes! There is a spot for everyone!

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education at the University of North Dakota, I spent a few years in Bloomington, IN working as the Fitness Director for adults with developmental disabilities at Stone Belt day programming center. Then transitioning back into the gym atmosphere, I spent another year as a personal trainer working one-on-one with clients. Upon returning to ND, I went back to teaching group exercise classes and made that my (part-time) occupation, along with raising my family.

I have experience in a wide variety of class formats including Spinning, circuit training, yoga, step, SilverSneakers Classic and Cardio, HIIT, Battleropes...Here at I WILL we are open to your suggestions on class formats you would enjoy, so feel free to contact myself or any of our awesome instructors with your ideas!


 

Ashlyn Schmeichel
My passion for fitness started in 2012 when I was first introduced to group exercise classes held at our local YMCA. I knew this was going to be a lifelong enjoyment for me when I experienced the welcoming environment and positive energy from those around me.

Since then I have found a love for Pound, boot camp style workouts, yoga and running.

Recently I have become certified through NETA in group exercise training and as a Pound instructor. I currently enjoy running with our family dog, Denali, lake days with my husband, and spending time with family.


 

Mindy

Mindy Blackmore
I want to help you discover your passion for health, happiness, and the magic in believing in yourself.

I was born and raised in, North Dakota and was blessed to have amazing family. I have been married to my husband Tom for 12 years and together we have two children. Having my children helped me realize the importance of exercise, nutrition and using it properly, made me care about my body and mind and lastly shown me that is okay to take time for myself. I enjoy anything outdoors, being with my incredible friends and family, reading, learning, creating, teaching, laughing, leading group fitness classes, working out, hiking, doing burpees (I am not kidding!) and lastly playing around in the kitchen.

I am so glad and honored to be a part of I Will Fitness and I can’t wait to spend more time with you getting to know you, your goals and helping you find your personal success! Xo- Mindy


 

Justine

Justine Brickner
Hi I'm Justine! I'm a North Dakota native, married, a mom to one boy and a black lab. As a family we enjoy being outdoors whenever we can.

My passion for fitness began in 2012 when I knew I needed a lifestyle change. That was when I ran my first 5k! As a mom I needed to find time to take care of myself and I found that through fitness. Fast forward two years later when I became a health and fitness coach with Beachbody. Through healthy eating and at-home fitness, I was able to make a lot of positive changes to my body and mind that reflected throughout my whole life. I have learned the importance of positive mindset and leading an active life. It has been from then on that I wanted to encourage and inspire others in the same way and I'm very excited to continue my journey as a group fitness instructor!

It is so rewarding to see people making positive lifestyle changes while having FUN working out with friends.


 

Rachel

Rachel Macdonald
My name is Rachel Macdonald and I have a passion for yoga because of the physical and mental benefits it gives my body and mind. I have been practicing yoga regularly for the past 3 years and wanted to continue this journey and become a yoga instructor. Thanks to I Will Fitness and Training and my current yoga mentor, Sherry Schutt, I am teaching! I am currently taking yoga classes with NETA and my goal is to reach the 200-hour yoga certification and be a certified instructor through Yoga Alliance. It is hard work but I am enjoying it! My other goals in the next year are to become a certified group fitness instructor as well as a pilates instructor! I am doing what I love and loving what I do! I am also a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at JRMC and work on an as needed basis at Cornerstone Nutrition making and selling Herbalife products. My passion is health and wellness, I am here to help you on your journey and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. My focus for yoga classes is to teach a multi-level class so it doesn’t matter if it’s your first time attending yoga or if you’re experienced. My classes are free from judgement and formatted for you to honor your body and guide you through your practice. When you walk out the door after my class I want you to feel refreshed, relaxed, calm, and good about yourself. I would be happy for you to join me!

A little more about me….

  1. I am a dog lover. Dogs are my favorite. I have two..and a cat!
  2. I have my own yoga room in my house.
  3. I am married and have a 13 year old son.
  4. Traveling is my favorite…India is on my bucket list.
  5. Lindsey (I Will Fitness owner) and I played basketball in high school together!
  6. I travel to different towns and states for yoga experiences and classes.
  7. Pizza is my favorite food….well, dessert is actually!
  8. My best friends are my mom and the same ones I have had since high school!
  9. I have TONS of tattoos…it’s my thing.  🙂
  10. I am scared to death of spiders. If there is a spider in the studio, class is cancelled! (kidding!)

Kristal Uehran

I have been dancing since I was 5. (That’s the age I started dance classes…my Mom would have told you I was dancing before I was born 🙂 ) My first career was as a clinical Dance/Movement Therapist (I hold my M.S. from Hunter College in New York). I’ve also taught dance and fitness for many years to all ages. My current day job is running my own executive coaching and corporate training company. Not surprisingly, part of that business is helping professionals perfect their non-verbal communications skills!

I’ve been taking Zumba® classes for more than 4 years and love the fun so much, I have picked up my license to teach Zumba® and Zumba Gold®. I hope you will join me at the party!


 

Brooke Johnson

I was not always into exercising. For most of my life I was physically and mentally out of shape. My passion for group fitness began about a year ago when I made a decision to start fighting back against my addiction. Taking care of my mind body and soul have become key components of my recovery and I couldn't have done it without the amazing atmosphere and support of group exercise.

I'm certified to teach Barre and Pound® and I'm just getting started! It's a privilege to be welcomed to the staff at I Will Fitness. I'm humbled and excited to be able to help guide anyone through their journey to wellness.


 

Ned Simpson

Ned Simpson
When I finished playing junior hockey in Northern Ontario, I came to the Midwest to pursue a degree in exercise science with an end goal of completing a doctorate in physical therapy, as well as compete at the college hockey level.

Spending my summers in sports specific gyms around Canada, I’ve seen the benefit that personal training can give to a person’s sport and overall quality of life. From seeing this progress of myself and others, I am very passionate about helping others reach their fitness and sporting goals. I am excited to train, and push athletes towards their personal and team goals.


 

Dan Cramer

I stumbled into this thing by marrying well. I Will Fitness is the brain and heart child of my awesome wife, Lindsey. I appreciate the opportunity to be on this journey with her and with all of you good people. My hope in teaching at I Will is to help those folks I’m fortunate enough to spend time with identify, commit, and accomplish their health/fitness goals. Recognizing that goals and change are ever evolving and that those changes measured by improved quality of life, self-confidence, and subjective wellness are more enduring and impactful than those measured just by a scale. My desire to teach at I Will is the result of my experiences there as a student. This is a facility where the instructors push, encourage, and ultimately care about the members. This is felt…, and I am excited to have an opportunity to be a part of that.

I do have a long history of involvement with exercise (most generally weight training) and have seen the incredible benefits it brings. I currently teach High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and am committed to consistently providing a full body workout that combines weight training and cardio bursts with the goal of building strength and endurance while burning serious calories.


 

Morgan Dale

Hello Everyone!

My name is Morgan Dale! If I don’t already know you, I would LOVE to get to know you! Here is a little about me…I love to smile, smiling’s my favorite! !I was born and raised here in Jamestown, ND and am a very strong supporter of the World’s Largest Buffalo town!—Also, RIP White Cloud.

Anywho, my passion for exercise and fitness began at a very young age. I was a mutli-sport athlete in High School and continued on to play basketball at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota. As a kid I spent countless hours at the gym or outside being active. My father had a large impact on my love for fitness. From playing sports outside together daily... and I mean daily, to attending the local YMCA several times a week, traveling to sport camps, and attending athletic events, he was always there to cheer me on. I am a firm believer that children learn from watching, seeing and doing what their parents do. If they see a parent being active, 9 times out of 10 they will continue an active lifestyle later on in life. Thank you, Dad, for instilling in me lifelong lessons of valuing my health and fitness abilities.

This is my first year that I have officially taken on the role of a “fitness instructor”. I’d like to consider the title more as a friend that you work out with that genuinely cares about whooping your butt into shape. Either way, I am so excited to gain experience in the instructing world and form awesome new relationships with you all. I strongly believe fitness has a way of creating irreplaceable bonds that last a lifetime. I WILL do my best to give you an amazing workout!
